Why is the head of a major news organization acting as a political consultant to a political figure?

Hey Republicans…dont EVER say again that FOX news isnt a republican mouth piece…read the article and try to ignore the truth

Hey JP…keep ingoring the truth …..but you might want to read the part again where Ailes talks about the advice he gives Palin

Ummm, I believe what he told her was not to inject herself personally into the news story. That’s advice every talking TV face should be given.

Fox is less of a mouthpiece to the GOP than all the others are for the DNC. That has been proven!

Hillary, Bob Beckle, Lanny Davis, etc. are on Fox all the time.

You DO understand that ‘The Ticket’ is far left-wing….right?
Don’t believe me? Look up their archives and find me ONE article critical of a Democrat.References : http://www.yelp.com/topic/new-york-foxnews-is-the-most-balanced-election-coverage—pew-research-centers-project-for-excellence-in-journalism-2008

I know this sounds like a major chore, but if you do not like their programming then simply change the channel.

Is it really that difficult?References :

I read the article, but apparently you did not. It doesn’t say that Roger Ailes was acting as Palin’s political consultant. The first reader comment below the story says that, but it’s not in the article.References :
